Vera the squirrel believes in a better tomorrow. She knows all the plants.
No one knows the forest and meadows better. She is also a skilful and fast climber. From the tops of the tallest trees, she first looks down to see where something is flowering or ripening. She is a tireless forager and has a real pharmacy in her den.
There you will find various tea mixtures,ointments and medicinal syrups. She gets on well with Metod and Oskar, as they talk a lot and roam the gorge together.
All the animals in Vintgar Gorge are lively and healthy. How wouldn’t they be, when Vera is looking after their strength and goodwill?
