About the Vintgar Gorge

Along the one-way trail across wooden bridges anchored into the living rock of the Vintgar Gorge, you can listen to 8 audio guide stories. The entrance is at the VINTGAR Visitor Centre. After 1,600 metres of admiring the power of nature, you reach the Šum Waterfall, where the route continues along the circular thematic return trail, the King of Triglav Trail (5.7 km in total, including the gorge).

DISCOVER THE AUDIO STORIES OF VINTGAR GORGE

For a more powerful experience in as you pass through Vintgar Gorge, we have prepared an audio guide to lead you through a series of audio stories. Follow them and discover the secrets of one of the most beautiful gorges in the world. One audio point is located outside the entrance to Vintgar Gorge, and you’ll find seven more along the trail inside the gorge. The final audio point is situated after the exit from the gorge below Šum Fall. All the stories can be accessed via QR codes on panels at each audio point.
