VINTGAR Shuttle e-bus

To enhance the visitor experience and promote greater respect for the natural environment, we have relocated parking areas to the outskirts and introduced the VINTGAR Shuttle-bus. This service ensures an organized, eco-friendly, and simple way to reach Vintgar Gorge, reducing traffic congestion and creating a safer, more enjoyable environment for both visitors and the local community.

VINTGAR SHUTTLE STOPS

The VINTGAR Shuttle-bus provides easy and sustainable access to Vintgar Gorge from three designated VINTGAR Hubs:

  • Central Parking VINTGAR LIP (1) – Departures every 20 minutes (starting 20 minutes before the gorge opens and running throughout the day, up to 2 hours after closing).
  • Parking VINTGAR Blejska Dobrava (3) – Departures every full hour.
  • Central Bus Station Bled

Departures from the parking lot:
07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:10, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00

Returns from the Visitor Centre to the parking lot:
8:15, 09:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:25, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, 18:15

Central Bus Station Bled

Departures from Bled Bus Station:
7:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:15, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, 17:30

Returns from the Visitor Centre to Bled Bus Station:

KEY INFORMATIONS

The VINTGAR Shuttle takes you directly to the VINTGAR Visitor Centre in approximately 20 minutes.

At all three VINTGAR Hubs, you can purchase tickets for Vintgar Gorge and get visitor information before boarding.

At the two official VINTGAR parking lots (VINTGAR LIP and VINTGAR Blejska Dobrava), visitors have access to shaded waiting areas, restrooms, and refreshment stands.

Additionally, a secure parking area for motorcycles and bicycles is available near the VINTGAR Visitor Centre.

Dogs are welcome, but they must wear a muzzle while on the shuttle.

Plan your visit carefully and arrive at the VINTGAR Visitor Centre a few minutes before your reserved entry time. If you arrive late, you will need to wait for the next available time slot.

There are several ways to get to Vintgar Gorge – by car or public transport, or even on foot or by bike if you are coming from Bled. Choose the one that suits you best and carefully plan your arrival time.

VINTGAR Visitor Centre

Before entering Vintgar Gorge, stop by the VINTGAR Visitor Centre, where you can get all the necessary information for a safe and enjoyable visit. The centre also offers a rest area and a selection of locally inspired food and drinks. Vintgar Gorge All-in-One Pass cannot be purchased here.

VINTGAR GORGE ALL-IN-ONE PASS PRICES & SALES

To avoid waiting, we recommend purchasing your digital pass, online in advance. Vintgar Gorge All-in-One Pass cannot be purchased at the VINTGAR Visitor Centre. If you arrive without a digital Vintgar Gorge All-in-One Pass, you can buy one at one of the three VINTGAR Hubs, before boarding the VINTGAR Shuttle.

Opening times

The Vintgar Gorge is open to visitors between April and October. Check the exact opening hours, as the hours change with the seasons and weather conditions.

Experiences

You can visit the Vintgar Gorge on your own, with the help of an audio guide, or join a guided tour. A guided tour with a local guide is available daily at 16:00 for individual visitors. Check availability and reserve your spot in advance.
