EXPERIENCE VINTGARING

Embark on a 3+hour journey through the Vintgar Gorge, guided by an audio
tour, followed by a return along one of our themed trails back to the starting point.

The Vintgar Gorge and Triglav National Park experience is designed as a one-way circular route. You can choose Alpine vintgaring, which combines the main one-way path through Vintgar Gorge with the return-themed King of Triglav Trail – a more historical, sunny, and scenic route. Alternatively, you can opt for Forest vintgaring, where after the one-way path through Vintgar Gorge, you continue along the River of Trees Trail, a more nature-focused and shaded trail.
Both routes bring you back to the starting point (Bus Terminal at the VINTGAR Visitor Centre) and, with the help of an audio guide, reveal the extraordinary stories of this unique place.

“I love Vintgar Gorge. It is an interesting and educational experience for my teenager and not too difficult an activity for the whole family. While getting to know nature through interpretive content, all family members connected and learned something new about the nature that surrounds us.”
