Plan your arrival carefully.

  • Inquire more about Vintgaring and pre-select either the themed Path of King Triglav or the River of Trees Path, which both end at the parking lot or the VINTGAR Visitor Centre.

  • Let’s preserve nature together and adhere to the principles of a responsible visit.

  • Access is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.

  • Dogs must be on a leash in the gorge. On the VINTGAR shuttle, they must wear a muzzle.

EXPERIENCE VINTGARING

The Vintgar Gorge and Triglav National Park experience is designed as a one-way circular route. Choose Alpine or Forest hiking, which connects the path through Vintgar with the Path of King Triglav or the River of Trees Path, ending at the parking lot or the VINTGAR Visitors Centre. If you haven’t chosen the Alpine or Forest direction in advance and based on your parking, you can still decide at the Šum Waterfall, from where you can take a more shaded and naturalistic path or a more historical and scenic path.

How to get here

There are several ways to get to Vintgar Gorge – by car or public transport, or even on foot or by bike if you are coming from Bled. Choose the one that suits you best and carefully plan your arrival time.

VINTGAR Visitor Centre

At the entrance to Vintgar Gorge is the VINTGAR Visitor Centre, where you will receive all the information you need for a safe and enjoyable visit. There is also a rest area and an attractive and interesting range of local food and drink on offer.
